The information is accessed from a web-based interface with advanced alarm notification and data logging features. By using a combination of standard protocols and communication interfaces that are provided with data center equipment, along with hardwired and wireless sensors for legacy equipment, Bluestone is able to give Data Center managers a complete view of Data Center operations.

Partners HealthCare Controls Design

Bluestone analyzed Partners' energy needs in their 14,000 sq. ft. data center in Needham, MA. A central control system was implemented to monitor various items, including UPS panels, PDUs and electrical wiring systems. Temperature monitoring and controls were also installed and allow for specific temperature information to be gathered down to the rack level, as well as remote control of CRAC units and chilled water systems.
