Wireless Controls

There are several wireless standards that enable Building Automation Systems (BAS) equipment to be grouped into wireless monitoring and control mesh networks that automatically configure themselves. These networks typically control infrastructure components of buildings such as:

  • Temperature sensors and humidity controls
  • Thermostats
  • Lighting controls
  • HVAC dampers
  • Smoke and CO detectors
  • Automatic meter reading

Building Engineers can significantly reduce the upfront cost and implementation issues of improving the energy efficiency of their facilities by using wireless building-automation controls. Bluestone can help identify which automation controls could benefit from being wireless and/or battery-free, and help free facilities from the issues that typcially have stalled widespread adoption of BAS in their facilities.
